Moon Township "Storm water":

Brief:

Stormwater runoff is generated when rain and melting snow flows over land or impervious surfaces and does not saturate into the ground. As the runoff flows over the land or these impervious surfaces such as paved streets, parking lots, and building rooftops, it accumulates debris, chemicals, sediment or other pollutants that could harmfully effect water quality if the runoff is left untreated.

Responsibilities:

Create a brand for the storm water awareness in Moon Township. This is used for pamphlets and multimedia.

Goals:

The goal for me was to create something fun that can capture imagination and attention. Majority of the print materials storm water information is on are magazines and pamphlets sent home to Moon Residents. I believe in the homes of the township parents are very likely to take a magazine and toss it aside without ever paying any attention to its content. Solution, bring public awareness to children. Give them an entertaining mascot to ask questions about whats on the page. "Drip" the storm water droplet is the mascot that I created for Moon's Green Initiatives. I believe children are one of the best ways to get their parents to read something or learn about a cause.
